I just came across a fabulous book called Tokyo Underground, by the publishers of Super7 magazine. If you lean toward the toy/model end of the geek spectrum, like I do, this is a great little book with all sorts of nice shopping tips. I just wish I would have found it before my trip. It is a little on the pricey side at $20, but it has some great info.
