My hosting company transitioned to new servers a few months ago, and in the process went from being a great host, to a rather shit one. As a result, there were all sorts of problems with my site that I just couldn't, or didn't have the time to fix. I'm starting to get them straightened out now though, so I should have some new content making it up onto the site in fairly short order. IĀ apologizeĀ to anyone who has been wondering why I stopped putting anything new up for a while. |

Ok, after a couple of months without anyone commenting on any of the articles or pictures, I get the hint. No one wants to comment, so there is no need for a comment system, and thus no need for a login system, and thus no need for a lot of the clutter. So, now it is all gone, and there are no more comments. |

Here is an illustration of what is going on with the front page slider, for the developer who wanted to see it. If you aren't working on this problem, then this is probably of no interest to you. |

By the way, if you don't like the orange color scheme of the site, go up to the arrow in the very upper right of the page, and try out the green or blue theme. You can also change the sizes of the text to be larger if you want (yes I'm talking to you Eric).

Right now comments only work in the gallery. There is a long technical reason for that, but I am working on fixing it, so it doesn't matter. If everything goes well, I should have site-wide comments working within the week. I don't know if anyone will ever use the coments system, but I think it is nice to have anyway. |

It took a little work, but I figured out how to get Google maps to show up in an article! Now I can show you where the stores are. I wish I had all the JR stations in my KMZ, so that they would show up in the maps as a point of reference, but I don't, and there are an awful lot of them to do by hand. They are all in Google Maps, but only in Japanese. If you read Japanese, then you can just put it in map or hybrid view, and tell where the station is. For those who don't, in Map view the station is usually the thing in red on the map view.
