I saw this down around Broadway and 7th, which is one of those odd areas you get in big cities, where you have a really scummy neighborhood, littered with liquor stores, homeless people, and trash, yet every few blocks there is a building with million dollar condos in it. I have never been quite clear on what mindset it takes to spend a million dollars to have homeless people sleeping under your window, but obviously enough people spend the money for them to keep building the condos.
